Starting his career as a mechanical engineer Chris’ knowledge and experience of the lighting and construction industry is invaluable and is regularly put to the test throughout many of our projects. Chris moved away from his practical roots and into project management where he was responsible for the management and health and safety of 15 office, warehouse and factory buildings across an £85m business. During this time Chris initiated, managed and completed many interior refurbishments and relocations putting him in good stead for when he decided to branch out on his own, establishing Butler Haydon Associates Limited in 2010.
Having worked as a Project Manager for several years with experience specifically relating to client relations Amanda decided to join Chris at Butler Haydon making it a real family business. Since joining the Company Amanda has built on her existing knowledge by completing PRINCE2 Practitioner and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety. Projects to date include interior refurbishments at high end residential properties and hotels, Dilapidation and Relocation management and Health, Safety and Fire Risk Assessments at residential and commercial properties.
